Oakland Woman Charged with 11 Counts of Workers' Compensation Fraud in San Mateo County

 A 57-year-old Oakland resident who used to work for the San Mateo County workers’ compensation office has been charged with 11 counts of insurance fraud for allegedly committing workers’ compensation fraud of her own, San Mateo County Deputy District Attorney Shin-Mee Chang said.

The woman, Tracy Lynn Ford, worked as a risk management program officer for the county’s worker compensation office from 2017-23, Chang said.
